Treasure Chest Wedding Craft

My twist on the wedding wishing well...

Items needed for chest:
1 large paper mache' chest
white satin or lace
white paint
1/4" white trim, cording, or string pearls
Hot glue gun or craft glue
knife or scissors
1 white pearl button
1 small white
tassel

Directions:Base coat (2 - 3 coats) treasure chest with white paint if you are going to use lace instead of satin to cover it with, cut a hole about 1/4" to 1/2" wide in the center of the lid coming about an inch from the edges of the lid, cover the lid and base in the lace or satin (or just leave painted), make sure to cut a slit in the lace or satin for the cards to go through, go around edges of the lid and the cut with the trim of your choice, make a small hole in lower center of lid and glue pearl button there, add white tassel and your treasure chest is complete.

Your wedding guests can now slip a gift card or cash into your treasure box and it makes a great keepsake!

VirtuGuild Blog for FSO moved

VirtuGuild Blog

I am changing this blog into a blog for my new journey into graphic design.  Therefore, I have moved my VirtuGuild blog that I created for my Full Sail education experience to its own little place on the web.  There is a link at the top of my blog or you can get to it by clicking on the photo above.  I hope you will stay subscribed to this blog and even subscribe to the VirtuGuild blog.  I will be posting again soon with some of my digital creations as I embark on this new journey.
